I can think of a few reasons that I love blogging:

1) Thanks to the open source nature of Wordpress and the web-based nature of Yahoo mail, Stumble Upon and all those other social netwroking tools I do not have to be tied to a desk or even my own laptop. I’m currently sitting in my local library and enjoying not crouching over my coffee table to type on the laptop.

2) It’s cheap to set up. Anyone can set up their own international publishing arm for a few dollars.

3) All that lovely Adsense revenue. I will be rich one day!

4) It’s an opportunity to join and even create a community of like-minded people all over the world and exchanges ideas.

5) One day you may get a book published like Seth Godin. Or even a few books. And a blog. Oh and the odd Squiddoo lens.

These are just a few thoughts.
